A bluffing game for 2 or more players. Each player needs five dice and a cup. Also called Perudo or Dudo.
Each round
- Everyone shakes their dice under their cup and looks at their own dice without showing anyone.
- The first player makes a bid about all the dice on the table, like "four 3s," meaning there are at least four dice showing 3 among everyone's dice.
- Going around the table, each player either raises the bid (more dice of any face, or the same quantity of a higher face) or calls the last bid a lie.
Challenges
- When someone calls "liar," everyone lifts their cups and counts.
- If the bid was right, the challenger loses a die. If the bid was wrong, the bidder loses a die.
- In many games 1s are wild and count as any face, unless someone bids on 1s directly.
- Some groups allow an exact call: you claim the bid is exactly right. If you're correct, everyone else loses a die.
Winning
Lose all your dice and you're out. The last player with dice wins.
